Vi tackar extra våra fantastiska huvudgivare Erik Mitteregger och Tedde Jeansson Sr som står för 400.000:- av årets stöd under ännu ett år. Vi tackar också extra mycket de givare och sponsorer som stöttat med mellan 10.000-50.000:-. De är Largus AB, Familjen Oretorp, Youni AB, Visinge Consulting AB, Familjen Gelin-Lindahl, Familjen Henning, Familjen Hellered och QinMind AB. Och stort tack alla som stöttat under årets projekt. Vi välkomnar även Fjällbjörken AB som kommer stötta stort från 2023. Med en effektiv användning är alla gåvor stora i ett land med BNP på ca 15kr/dag (jfr Sverige ca 1000kr/dag), som ger stor effekt i ett av världens 10 fattigaste länder.

2022 har varit ett aktivt år där vi genomfört 5 st skolbyggnadsprojekt plus 2st brunnar. Alla projekten byggs av boende i de byar som stöttas och de står även för material som finns lokalt som sten, sand etc. Vår lokala partner VPS stöder dem med lokal projekt- och teknisk projektledning samt material som måste köpas. Den modellen ger ett stort lokalt ägarskap och något vi tycker har en fantastisk effekt för de pengar vi alla stöttat med. Hur årets medel projekten använts finns redovisade löpande under året här på hemsidan. Tre personer från oss givare har (egenfinansierat) även varit på plats i slutet på året för att inspektera projekten som såg väldigt bra ut.

Vi tackar även vår lokala partner i Liberia Versatile Professional Services som förträffligt koordinerat alla dessa projekt tillsammans med berörda byar och som löpande flera gånger per vecka skickar info och bilder på hur det går till oss.

Inför 2023 pågår också en fantastiskt febril aktivitet. Så här ser den ambitiösa planen ut, där nästan alla dessa projekt också finansieras av de medel som samlats in 2022.

2	Loboba	Preparation of furniture               New Hand pump construction	Materials for sawing provided and selection of wood to be sawed and felling is done. Sawing into pieces of wood to begin right after the festive seasons.However, in order to speed up with the preparation of these furniture, community have arranged with some of its members who have in keeping already sawed and dry wood to be using for the preparation and be replaced with newly sawed wood since they have to be dried before use.Preparation materials for carpenters to be delivered between the 2nd to the 6th of January 2023 for work to begin.The month of January to be used for preparation of all furniture while students return from break on January 9, 2023.     Digging to begin on the 10th of January, 2023 by contractors. Already arranged.
3	Momoyengbeh	Preparation of furniture	Materials for sawing provided and selection of wood to be sawed and felling is done. Started sawing but saw got some mechanical faults and work had to stop and all is now set to begin after the festive seasons.Materials for preparation by carpenters to be delivered between the 4th -6th of January, 2023.Negotiation are also been made with some people in Bolahun with dried and ready wood to begin preparation of furniture as well in order to meet up with time line and for students use.
4	Hargala	Preparation of furniture	Materials for sawing provided and sawing started. Sawyer came to Monrovia to meet with family and will be back after the New Year festival.There are enough dry and ready wood owned by one Mr. Dukuly already in town and has agreed through my intervention to allow the community to use and replace after sawing. All these arrangements are meant for us to achieve our timeline for the preparation of this furniture. The newly sawed wood has to spend some time for the water to drain out before putting them together, to avoid crumbling and earlier damage.Carpenters will begin work after the festive seasons as soon as the materials for preparation are delivered.
